Knowit, a Nordic consulting company, faced challenges in internal communication, competitive IT industry, and weak brand recognition. The company's internal communication processes and brand recognition were in need of an upgrade as of late 2013. The former ATS fulfilled some basic needs, but there was a need for improvement in collaboration, hiring workflow, and ease of use. The chief recruiter, Atle Rovik, needed a way to better collaborate with branch managers and improve the organization of the recruiting process.

After researching, Atle Rovik selected Jobvite Hire, an American-based recruiting platform, to improve Knowit's recruiting program. Jobvite's social media publishing capabilities and user-friendly interface facilitated a company-wide recruiting department, targeting quality candidates. Jobvite's social recruiting software made internal communication more transparent, allowing every hiring manager and recruiter to collaborate on the same system. Candidate data and notes were collected in one place, maintaining a steady review pace, reporting cycle, and hiring cadence. Jobvite's integrated publishing feature allowed Knowit employees to spread the word on open positions to their networks, reaching capable, experienced employees more efficiently.
