Network Administrator Bryan Bernstein, responsible for the day-to-day IT operations, needed a more reliable and efficient backup solution to protect the company's email, database, and file servers. The existing Symantec tape backups were not only time-consuming but also failed to provide the reliability needed for the company's operations. Bernstein required a solution that would simplify the backup process, reduce the time spent on managing backups, and ensure data integrity.

To address the challenges faced by Healey Brothers, Bryan Bernstein decided to implement Barracuda Backup 390 after receiving a recommendation from another dealership. The Barracuda Backup 390 is designed for simplicity and efficiency, allowing Bernstein to 'set it and forget it.' The advanced deduplication methods of Barracuda Backup 390 significantly reduced the total storage space needed by over 36%. The deployment process was straightforward, taking about two hours to set up, and required less than ten minutes per week to maintain. This allowed Bernstein to reclaim control of the network and focus on other critical IT tasks.
