BP Aero is a full-service provider of aircraft engine teardowns, repairs, parts & accessory overhauls, and field service. Founded in 2008 with a focus on engine disassembly and service, the company later expanded operations to include MRO and hospital shop/engine lease return services. BP Aero currently operates two three facilities in Irving, Texas and maintains multiple quality certifications (FAA, EASA, CAAC, AS9110C and ISO 9001:2015) to ensure outstanding service to their rapidly expanding global customer base. Given the nature of their work, BP Aero takes quality very seriously, striving for a zero-defect culture and proactively designing streamlined processes that minimize paperwork and eliminate errors. The company rigorously trains its technicians and inspectors for each process and performs random audits to ensure quality, consistency, and sustainability. Executives at BP Aero view software as a key element in their quality management strategy, improving everything from root cause analysis to tracking and maintaining staff certifications.

BP Aero, a full-service provider of aircraft engine teardowns, repairs, parts & accessory overhauls, and field service, was looking for a system to better organize their processes and procedures, to get a better handle on data, and to track and manage KPIs more effectively. The company was largely dependent on paper-based systems and spreadsheets, which were time consuming and often made it difficult to access information quickly. As the company was preparing to improve upon their existing ISO credentials from ISO 9001 to AS9110, they knew that the more robust standard would require a fully integrated QMS system. BP Aero’s management recognized the need for a quality management system to accommodate their quality processes by incorporating and using modern technology and software.
