The Challenge
Universidade Anhembi Morumbi was looking for a solution to automate and enhance its processes. One example of this was the Ombudsman process, which used e-mail based processes that made control and tracking hard, as well as the Class Discipline Transfer process, where stages such as validating information were done manually.
The Solution
To meet its demands, the University adopted the business process Solution management solution, SoftExpert BPM. With the solution, UAM was able to automate the flow of a variety of processes, including: Ombudsman, Class Discipline Transfer, Discipline Waiver, Course transfer and Financial request analyses. The solution allowed for automatic verification of information needed to carry out processes through activities specified in the flow, such as approval/denial of the student's request.
