About The Customer
The customers are large companies based in Sri Lanka. They operate corporate shuttle buses for their employees. However, they were facing challenges in managing their transport services. The buses were often late, and drivers violated traffic rules. Additionally, passengers did not arrive on time at the bus stops, causing delays. These issues were affecting the quality of their transport services and they were in need of a solution to manage their transport services more effectively.
The Challenge
Several large companies in Sri Lanka were facing difficulties with their corporate shuttle buses. The buses were often late, drivers violated traffic rules, and passengers did not arrive on time at the bus stops, causing drivers to wait for them. These issues negatively impacted the quality of transport services. The companies needed a solution to manage their transport services and a mobile application for passengers.
The Solution
KLOUDIP, a partner from Sri Lanka, offered a comprehensive solution that included NimBus, QR codes, and the Wialon Eco Driving module. The KLOUDIP specialists trained the clients to configure routes in NimBus, assign vehicles and drivers to them, create stops, and monitor the shuttle buses’ location online. They also developed a mobile application for passengers. QR codes containing the route, stops, schedule, ETA details, and the real-time location of the vehicle were sent to the employees by e-mail or posted at the pickup points. The Wialon Eco Driving module was configured to monitor the driving behavior of each driver. If the driver had many violations, he was sent for additional training.
