About The Customer
Intro2 is designed for startup founders who are looking for a more efficient and effective way to connect with potential investors. These are individuals who are often juggling multiple roles within their startup, from CEO to operations manager, and are looking for ways to streamline the fundraising process. They are likely frustrated with the traditional fundraising model and are seeking a solution that can automate and simplify the process. The users of Intro2 are likely to be tech-savvy individuals who are comfortable using digital platforms and appreciate the power of data science in making strategic decisions.
The Challenge
The traditional startup fundraising model has been a source of frustration for many founders, including Trevor Goss, the founder of Intro2. The process of finding the right investors, creating a target list, navigating through LinkedIn for introductions, and following up on emails is time-consuming and often unproductive. Goss experienced these challenges firsthand while trying to find investors for his previous startup. The struggle to balance the roles of a CEO, operations manager, customer service, revenue generation, product development, and legal affairs further compounded the problem. The lack of a streamlined, efficient, and effective way to connect startups with potential investors was a significant challenge that needed a solution.
The Solution
Intro2 was developed as a solution to the challenges faced by startup founders in the fundraising process. The app, built on Bubble, uses data science to automatically connect startups with the best-matching investors at scale. When a founder signs up and enters details about their startup, Intro2 compares the startup to what each investor on the platform is looking to fund and ranks how well the startup compares to each. The app then sends out introductions to the best possible matches for the startup, in order. If an investor doesn’t respond, Intro2 works down the list and sends an intro to the next best investor, until the founder gets all the introductions they originally wanted. This process transforms startup fundraising from a process into a product, saving founders time and effort.

Predictive Maintenance for Industrial Chillers
For global leaders in the industrial chiller manufacturing, reliability of the entire production process is of the utmost importance. Chillers are refrigeration systems that produce ice water to provide cooling for a process or industrial application. One of those leaders sought a way to respond to asset performance issues, even before they occur. The intelligence to guarantee maximum reliability of cooling devices is embedded (pre-alarming). A pre-alarming phase means that the cooling device still works, but symptoms may appear, telling manufacturers that a failure is likely to occur in the near future. Chillers who are not internet connected at that moment, provide little insight in this pre-alarming phase.
