The Solution
Hi Spec Doorsets implemented Acumatica, a cloud-based ERP system, in 2012. The company upgraded to Acumatica 4.0 in March 2013, and again to 4.1 to take advantage of new features such as drag and drop, quick search, and favorites. The browser-based nature of Acumatica allowed the sales staff to work from anywhere, on any device, and update their information back to the office in minutes rather than days. The company also implemented automatic notifications for selected customers, informing them of shipment updates and reducing the need for phone calls. The company plans to bring the JAMS manufacturing module online and give key customers their own portal, further reducing costs and showing their commitment to investing in the future.
