The Challenge
DATABASICS faced a significant challenge in providing flexible and powerful reporting options to its customers. The Solution
DATABASICS decided to move away from their in-house reporting system and began searching for a real-time reporting solution that could provide the necessary business intelligence to compete in higher-end markets. After evaluating various tools, they chose TIBCO Jaspersoft for its power, scalability, and ease of integration. Jaspersoft's open-source, Java-based platform allowed DATABASICS to offer a bundled product that combined their time and expense software with embedded reporting tools. The decision to keep the Jaspersoft brand name was strategic, as it provided customers with access to additional resources and support. The new system offered features such as Single Sign-on, data security, a user-friendly browser UI, analytics, ad hoc reporting, and mobile reporting capabilities.
