About The Customer
CTI Solutions Group is a company that provides reporting solutions to its customers. Their clients are businesses that are heavily involved in monitoring various aspects of their operations, including wholesale inventory, sales by style, and SKUs. These businesses require timely and accurate information to make informed decisions and run their operations effectively. CTI Solutions Group was offering analytics via Excel and other tools in both HTML and downloadable formats. However, they were struggling to keep up with the programming and maintenance required to provide these services. The company has a team of 12 local full-time programmers and another 30 offshore, with six of them dedicated to maintaining task reporting for 93 countries throughout the world.
The Challenge
CTI Solutions Group was facing a significant challenge in managing their reporting solution for customers. The company's clients were increasingly involved in monitoring various aspects of their businesses, including wholesale inventory, sales by style, and SKUs. CTI Solutions offered analytics via Excel and other tools in both HTML and downloadable formats. However, the company was struggling to keep up with programming and maintenance, despite having a team of 12 local full-time programmers and another 30 offshore. Six of these programmers were dedicated to maintaining task reporting for 93 countries throughout the world. The company realized that they needed a more automated, more uniform solution that could present information in a variety of ways, both online and downloadable. If they didn't move to a more agile reporting and data handling system, they would not be able to satisfy their clients' growing needs for timely information or hire the talent they needed to grow.
The Solution
CTI Solutions Group decided to move to a dedicated analytic engine, which would allow them to focus on recording rather than maintenance. They also wanted to offer real-time data and an environment that was more attuned to experience rather than tasks. After a year of research, they determined that TIBCO Jaspersoft would have the quickest learning curve and the most user-friendly interface. They believed that the more information they could provide to their customers, the better foundation their customers would have for effectively running their businesses. Jaspersoft allowed CTI Solutions to provide a superior user experience and reporting capabilities. It also enabled them to export to Excel, PNG, and PowerPoint, which was a big plus as a lot of information their clients collect needed to be shown to their customers in a graphic or PowerPoint display.

Predictive Maintenance for Industrial Chillers
For global leaders in the industrial chiller manufacturing, reliability of the entire production process is of the utmost importance. Chillers are refrigeration systems that produce ice water to provide cooling for a process or industrial application. One of those leaders sought a way to respond to asset performance issues, even before they occur. The intelligence to guarantee maximum reliability of cooling devices is embedded (pre-alarming). A pre-alarming phase means that the cooling device still works, but symptoms may appear, telling manufacturers that a failure is likely to occur in the near future. Chillers who are not internet connected at that moment, provide little insight in this pre-alarming phase.
