The Challenge
Clive Hornsby, a former Data Analyst and Marketing Expert, faced the challenge of managing contact data efficiently. After detecting new customers or prospects via social media or personal contact, Clive would add them to his Outlook account. However, he and his team needed to centralize all their contact data into one central source of truth to get a 360° view of their customers and prospects. The Conflux team chose Insightly CRM to fulfill this role, but there was a lot of trial and error before they discovered PieSync.
The Solution
Conflux Consultants established an integration with PieSync between Outlook and Insightly. This configuration synced all customer and prospect data to Insightly CRM, so the entire team has access to correct, up-to-date data. Clive and his team categorize their clients according to their needs. For instance, if a prospect is concerned about his lack of reviews online and reaches out to Clive, this information is added to Outlook and automatically synced to Insightly. This ensures that every team member has access to crucial information. Additionally, Conflux Consultants is using PieSync’s Intelligent Syncing Feature to track contacts back to their source by adding tags to know which team member referred a particular contact.
