The Vonage SMS API was also used to create an SMS callback feature. When a shopper received a text from a retailer, they had the option to text back if they wanted to engage in a customer service call with an agent. This quick call to action was particularly useful for smaller shopping carts or online retailers that experienced a high rate of shopping cart abandonment.
