Automating Processes for Efficiency: A Case Study on Lumen's Adoption of Kissflow

Lumen is an automotive manufacturer based in Australia, with a significant global presence in the automotive industry. The company specializes in the design and manufacture of a wide range of automotive products aimed at enhancing driving safety and comfort. With a workforce of between 51 and 250 employees, Lumen was heavily reliant on manual processes and was struggling with a hard-to-use legacy system. The company's data was dispersed across various locations, making it difficult for stakeholders to access and analyze it in a consolidated manner.

Lumen also desired to connect applications and kick off sub-processes using information gained from other processes, a capability their existing system did not offer.

Lumen began their automation journey by automating their Premium Freight Authority form, a process that was easily accomplished with Kissflow. The most significant advantage was the ability to connect data from the Premium Freight Authority to another process without duplicating information. They also created a custom report for management, which was well-received by the leadership team.
