关于客户
Stafast Products, Inc., was founded in 1958 with a “better idea” to manufacture a unique, high retention, tapered barrel T-Nut. This design reduced industry rework costs, and it also had a distinct economic and manufacturing advantage. Since then, Stafast has added hundreds of other products. Stafast’s T-Nut line has been expanded to represent the largest selection in the Americas. The line includes the “Ultimate T-Nut,” a product that eliminates push-out and rework costs. With their Automation Equipment Division, Stafast is able to address not only fastener needs but also the needs for increased productivity. This unique combination allows Stafast to ensure its customers the lowest possible assembled costs.
挑战
Stafast was previously using a highly customized and outdated version of Microsoft Dynamics SL, which did not support their distribution or manufacturing processes. The company’s international locations were running separate systems, preventing process automation and organizational visibility. The Stafast team had a reactive purchasing process for a large number of parts, resulting in inaccurate stock levels. Additionally, the company lacked a production planning tool.
解决方案
Stafast implemented a 50-user Microsoft Dynamics AX solution across its four companies, including subsidiaries in Denmark and China. Velosio created user-defined “alerts” on customer trends and usage for a proactive approach for managing the supply chain. The team at Stafast gained full-featured production planning, automated lead tracking throughout the sales process, and the ability to create customized reports/queries without having to engage IT.

Improving Vending Machine Profitability with the Internet of Things (IoT)
The vending industry is undergoing a sea change, taking advantage of new technologies to go beyond just delivering snacks to creating a new retail location. Intelligent vending machines can be found in many public locations as well as company facilities, selling different types of goods and services, including even computer accessories, gold bars, tickets, and office supplies. With increasing sophistication, they may also provide time- and location-based data pertaining to sales, inventory, and customer preferences. But at the end of the day, vending machine operators know greater profitability is driven by higher sales and lower operating costs.

Revolutionizing Rodent Control
From pet- and child-safe traps, to touch-free and live-catch rodent control solutions, Victor continues to stay committed to producing superior products that meet the varying needs of today’s pest control professionals. And, with a long standing history supporting customers in the food processing, service, and retail settings, Victor knew that strict regulations were costing organizations thousands of dollars in excess overhead trying to manage their rodent-control solutions. Trap inspections in these environments are often difficult and time consuming, requiring personnel to manually check a trap’s status multiple times per day, amounting to over six hours of manual labor. Victor is looking for an innovative way to increase operational efficiencies with the use of technology.
