Sotheby’s Home, formerly known as Viyet, is a high-end consignment furniture company that operates through an online marketplace. The company is a design guru’s place to buy and sell furniture and accessories. They were faced with the challenge of closing the gap between the price they quoted their customers for shipping and the amount they were ultimately billed by the provider. This allowed them to receive real-time pricing based on their item size, service requirements, and shipping policies, and display it to customers at the point of sale. This eliminated the work they were doing manually, and its pricing automation technology ensured they were getting the best rate for their customers.
