The company has been a client of B2W Software since 2001 and has attended two B2W User Conferences. Romero General Construction was looking for a software solution that would help them standardize their estimating process and stay on time and on budget. They wanted a centralized database to organize their resources and eliminate the risk of errors in their estimating and bidding process.

They were looking for a solution that would standardize the estimating and bidding process, keeping all of their estimators on the same page and eliminating the risk of errors. The company also wanted to save time and money by updating a specific part of the bid globally. Furthermore, they were looking to streamline their field tracking and analysis operations. Previously, reports were filled out by foremen in the field and faxed into the office, requiring someone to transcribe the report and enter it into the accounting system.

Romero General Construction partnered with B2W Software and implemented their B2W Estimate and B2W Track solutions. B2W Estimate provided a centralized database that allowed Romero to standardize the estimating and bidding process, keeping all of their estimators on the same page and eliminating the risk of errors. The solution also allowed for quick and efficient updates to labor and burdens, with changes being effective immediately on all bids going out. B2W Track helped streamline Romero's field tracking and analysis operations. Reports that were previously filled out by foremen in the field and faxed into the office could now be entered directly into the system, eliminating a lot of data entry and freeing up personnel for more productive tasks. The integration with the Viewpoint (formerly Maxwell StreetSmarts) accounting system also saved time and allowed for real-time reporting capabilities.
