Palmer Construction Group, Inc. is a construction company based in Sault Ste. Marie, ON. Since 1965, the company has been serving Sault Ste. Marie and the surrounding area with quality performance and leadership in the construction industry. In the early years, the company focused on small commercial grading and paving projects, and has since branched out to include larger scale road building and asphalt paving, as well as sewer and water main construction and concrete work. The company has been a client of B2W Software since 2009 and has attended three B2W User Conferences.

As Palmer Construction Group expanded, the need to standardize their estimating and operations became apparent. They had tried several solutions, including Lotus and Excel spreadsheets, and a program called Chief Estimator. However, these solutions were not up-to-date and lacked a centralized database. The company needed a solution that could manage all of their job logistics in a streamlined and efficient way, and one that could grow with them and remain on the cutting edge of technology.

The B2W Estimate software provides a pay item database that allows the company to reuse items in their estimates, streamlining the estimating process. The software's reports give field crews an idea of the project timeline and how the job is expected to be executed, improving efficiency. B2W Dispatch allows the company to effectively schedule their crews and provides reports that help the office staff account for everyone and everything that was done the previous day. The software suite is built on the ONE (Operational Networked Elements) platform, providing a single operational database for single point data entry and enabling instant cross-module resource visibility and collaboration.
