The company employs almost 1,000 general agents, 2,000 agency collaborators, and 1,700 employees. Gan Assurances is one of three brands, alongside Groupama and Amaguiz, that make up the Groupama Group, a leader in the insurance industry. The group serves 13 million business and personal clients with a workforce of 32,600 employees, including 7,800 who are based outside France.

Gan Assurances, a leading insurance company in France, was facing a challenge in leveraging the digital experience to attract and gain new clients. The company had a strong conversion rate once a client visited the agencies, but driving them in-agency from offline proved to be an opportunity. The internet being the primary tool in a client’s pre-purchase phase, the first step in establishing the brand online was to optimize its presence. The company aimed to improve local search result rankings to attract online traffic and generate qualified leads for the agencies.

Gan Assurances chose the BRIDGE Store Locator to create a digital presence for its agencies while placing their agents at the center of the client relationship. The Store Locator enabled Gan Assurances to create a centralized point on their website where clients could get detailed information about the different agencies and the products and services they offered. Clients could also contact agents by phone or view the address and opening hours. To target prospective clients conducting online searches, the brand leveraged Local Pages to highlight each agency. These pages are search-engine-optimized for local searches whether the query includes the brand name and/ or the products and services offered. Local Pages allowed Gan Assurances to be accessible online through higher ranking and improved visibility in organic search results.
