This granular visibility is key to Peakflow SP’s ability to provide Foreshore with network-wide, non-intrusive anomaly detection and intelligent mitigation. Peakflow SP learns normal traffic and routing behavior across hundreds of routers and thousands of interfaces and correlates the traffic patterns with the topology data to build logical data models. In addition to relying on Peakflow SP to defend its own network against DDoS attacks, Foreshore uses the system to help deliver managed DDoS detection and mitigation services to customers.
