关于客户
Brivo is a global leader in cloud-based access control and security platforms for commercial and multifamily properties. Their mission is to provide Simply Better Security solutions that improve user experiences for property managers, tenants, employees, and visitors. With over 20 million users and 1,500 authorized resellers, Brivo’s SaaS platform unifies the security experience across access control, mobile credentials, video surveillance, identity federation, visitor management, intercoms, and elevator control. Brivo is privately held and headquartered in Bethesda, Maryland, and has been in operation since 2001. They have over 75,000 unique sites in the U.S. and in 40+ countries around the world, generating about 13 million to 14 million events a day.
挑战
Brivo faced challenges in providing their customers with in-depth reporting options and the ability to visualize, analyze, and comprehend their data. Their customers needed to easily distinguish potential security risks and trends from normal activity and required more dynamic and interactive web-based reporting options. Additionally, with the increasing emphasis on physical security and cybersecurity, Brivo’s customers needed an efficient approach to quickly identify critical information, such as security breaches or other anomalies, without reviewing multiple video screens. This need was particularly important for larger enterprises with security teams that had to monitor greater volumes of people and physical locations.
解决方案
To address their challenges, Brivo partnered with Logi Analytics to leverage their scalable embedded analytics platform. This platform provided Brivo with the ability to integrate powerful visualizations and reporting tools directly into their existing solution. The Logi Analytics platform, including Logi Composer and Logi Report, offered a modern user interface that was intuitive and easy to use for non-data users. Brivo’s enterprise-tier customers could access the Brivo Data Explorer tool, which connected the Logi Analytics platform to their data warehouse and data lake, allowing for real-time embedded analytics. This enabled security team members to explore various scenarios, filter out normal events, and locate unusual activity. The platform also provided fine-grained permissions and bulk actions, making it easier for larger organizations to manage their security data.

Energy Saving & Power Monitoring System
Recently a university in Taiwan was experiencing dramatic power usage increases due to its growing number of campus buildings and students. Aiming to analyze their power consumption and increase their power efficiency across 52 buildings, the university wanted to build a power management system utilizing web-based hardware and software. With these goals in mind, they contacted Advantech to help them develop their system and provide them with the means to save energy in the years to come.

Intelligent Building Automation System and Energy Saving Solution
One of the most difficult problems facing the world is conserving energy in buildings. However, it is not easy to have a cost-effective solution to reduce energy usage in a building. One solution for saving energy is to implement an intelligent building automation system (BAS) which can be controlled according to its schedule. In Indonesia a large university with a five floor building and 22 classrooms wanted to save the amount of energy being used.

Smart City Public Safety
Amyx+ worked with a local government authority to develop an Internet of Things-enabled public safety strategy. In the current state, vigilance meant manually scanning through potentially hundreds of analog surveillance videos feeds. Manual, costly and ineffective, the local agency desired to transition from analog to digital CCTV, apply computer vision and other technologies to automatically detect potential crime in progress, expedite and streamline emergency calls and integrate with personal wearables to ensure the safety of their citizens.

Commercial Building Automation Boosts Energy Efficiency
One of the challenges to building automation is the multitude of non-interoperable communications protocols that have evolved over the years. Buildings have several islands of automation. Bridging the islands of different automation without losing the considerable investment in each specialized control network is the main focus in this solution.
