ProGlove develops smart gloves that enable manufacturing and logistics staff to work faster, safer and easier. Process steps can be documented hands free whilst instant feedback to its user is received. Therefore, ergonomics, efficiency and quality is improved.
ProGlove is a Munich-based company founded in December 2014 by former BMW and IDEO employees. After becoming third in the Intel “Make It Wearable” Challenge, the smart glove has already been recognized by BMW, Festo, Siemens, and other Board Executives. The startup has successfully closed its first funding round of $2.2 million in late May, led by Intel Capital, GETTYLAB and Bayern Kapital.
