The Challenge
Entertainment Promotions, a leader in the North American discounts and promotions market, embarked on an initiative to streamline and improve core business processes, simplify day-to-day tasks for its 520 staff members, and unify silos of activity across the organization. The effort, known as Project Breakthrough, involved the implementation of a variety of new software applications, including cloud-based solutions, to replace legacy systems. The company needed to maintain the availability of existing data sources as new systems were being turned on. The challenge was to ensure business continuity and information accessibility in the midst of a major technology infrastructure upgrade, which included the deployment of cloud-based systems.
The Solution
The company selected the iWay Integration Suite from Information Builders to promote swift, efficient information exchange across the entire enterprise, enable data sharing and collaboration between new applications, and to allow partners to gather information about the deals and offers they promote. iWay solutions were implemented to facilitate the movement of data between the systems that were being retired, and the ones replacing them.
