The Challenge
UangTeman, a micro-lending service in Indonesia, faced a challenge in maintaining real-time engagement with their customers. The company's real-time credit approvals allowed them to reach customers quickly, but it also necessitated constant, real-time interaction. UangTeman wanted to run concurrent campaigns based on specific customer actions and provide contextual messaging depending on those actions. However, achieving this was difficult without a marketing automation platform, as such campaigns require intelligent automation. The Solution
UangTeman partnered with MoEngage, which provided them with Flows, a tool that allowed them to run campaigns that engage and retain customers, and simplify email management. With Flows, UangTeman automated the customer engagement process by sending triggered emails and push notifications (in the app). They ran concurrent campaigns based on customer actions such as app download, loan application, loan approval, or loan amount disbursed. Using action-based conditions, they were able to reach the right customer with accurate and direct messaging. Due to real-time loan and credit approvals, it was crucial for UangTeman to offer personalized contextual messaging to its customers. With MoEngage Flows, they were able to drive personalized messaging based on user action on email as well as the app.
