The Challenge
TSG Group faced significant challenges in managing multiple finance systems across 30 countries. The existing systems, including SAP Business Objects Financials Consolidation (BOFC) and Hyperion Essbase, caused data latency and synchronization issues, with delays over two hours. Additionally, the need to work through a third party for external service support added to the lag times. The group required a single CPM environment for both external and management reporting, and a single provider to support the system.
The Solution
TSG Group selected OneStream Software to address their challenges. The modern OneStream platform provided a unified environment for consolidation, statutory reporting, management reporting, and analysis. Working with OneStream Partner, Inplenion, TSG set up a full-managed service with the platform. The system was configured to meet their needs and had the agility to scale as requirements changed. The implementation process was smooth, and TSG migrated all financial consolidation, statutory reporting, and management reporting to the OneStream platform in the first phase of the project. The transition was successful, and the company is now live on the new system.
