About The Customer
Veltum-Zaporozhye LLC is a company based in Ukraine that operates in the waste collection industry. The company has a filling station within its territory, which is used for its operations. The filling station was facing several issues, including time-consuming manual record-keeping, data insecurity, discrepancies in fuel records, fuel dumping by drivers, and malfunctioning fuel pumps.
The Challenge
Veltum-Zaporozhye LLC was facing difficulties with their filling station located within the enterprise's territory. The filling station operator was recording the fillings in a paper logbook, which was time-consuming and insecure. Mistakes were often made while filling in the logbook, resulting in discrepancies between the values specified on paper and the actual amount of fuel given. Additionally, fuel was being dumped by drivers, and one fuel pump was out of order.
The Solution
Gurtam partner, UMT, upgraded and repaired the fuel pump by adding a LED control panel, a keyboard for configuring the panel and specifying the fuel portion, an RFID scanner, and a SmartBox 5.02 GPS terminal that transfers all the information to Wialon. Each driver was given an RFID card, without which they would not be able to use the pump. If a driver is not listed in the device's memory, the pump will not work.
