Ripa & Associates is a privately owned civil construction company located in Tampa, Florida. Established in 1998, the company now has more than 450 employees and has completed more than 1,500 earthwork, road building, infrastructure and utility projects throughout the central part of the state ranging in size from $100,000 to greater than $20 million. The company specializes in grading, excavating, paving, water and sewer, and utilities work. They have been a client of B2W Software since 2007 and have attended two B2W User Conferences.
The Challenge
Ripa & Associates, a civil construction company based in Tampa, Florida, was looking for an efficient way to manage their estimating process. The company had previously used HCSS Heavy Bid and Hard Dollar, but found these systems to be lacking in terms of reporting capabilities and ease of use. They needed a solution that would allow them to quickly see and modify cost, production, and other variables, and pass information to their management and accounting staff more quickly and efficiently.
The Solution
