Rhino-Rack is a global roof-rack manufacturer based in Sydney, Australia. Since 1992, they have been providing a diverse range of innovative roof rack products for tradesmen, sports enthusiasts, and outdoor devotees. Known for their high-quality roof rack systems and accessories, Rhino-Rack exports products to more than 55 countries and manages over 8,000 item SKUs. Any delay in dispatch could lead to bottlenecks in their warehouse operations. Their objective was to get their stock under control and optimize their supply chain within their NetSuite ERP.
The Challenge
Rhino-Rack needed to get their stock under control and optimize their supply chain within their NetSuite ERP. During the NetSuite implementation testing phase, they realized that the WMS they originally selected lacked the core functionality they needed. Their implementation partner reviewed possible alternatives and recommended RF-SMART. The challenge was to transition smoothly from their previous highly customized barcoding solution to RF-SMART at their Sydney Head Office. The transition had to be seamless to avoid any disruptions in their operations.
The Solution
Rhino-Rack decided to switch to RF-SMART during their NetSuite implementation. RF-SMART, built within NetSuite, provided real-time visibility, fewer errors, and better stock handling processes. The rapid deployment and user-friendly interface of RF-SMART ensured that the NetSuite implementation went ahead as planned. Rhino-Rack adopted standard RF-SMART functionalities such as receiving, order picking, enhanced item enquiry, and bin transfers. This led to increased inventory control, greater efficiencies, and fewer mistakes. The feedback from the staff was positive, highlighting the improved job processes and significant time savings.

Moxa was asked to provide a connectivity solution for one of the world's leading cosmetics companies. This multinational corporation, with retail presence in 130 countries, 23 global braches, and over 66,000 employees, sought to improve the efficiency of their production process by migrating from manual monitoring to an automatic productivity monitoring system.
