As a media company, Reach PLC relies heavily on its IT infrastructure to ensure smooth operations and deliver content to its readers. The company had several installations monitoring their network, but they were looking for a solution that could unify these into a single coherent system.

They needed functionalities such as a single master view of systems with multiple collectors located across datacenters, easier management of monitoring system configuration, and long term storage of historical trend data. The challenge was to find a solution that could deliver these functionalities while improving the efficiency of the operations team and enhancing the service level of their operations.
The Solution
Reach PLC chose Opsview as their solution. Opsview was able to utilize their existing monitoring agents, which greatly reduced the amount of effort and time involved in the transition. The solution delivered a unified monitoring system and greatly reduced the overhead of managing this system. With Opsview, Reach PLC was able to improve the efficiency of their operations team and enhance the service level of their operations.
