The Challenge
deltathree, a leading provider of SIP-based Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) solutions for service providers and consumers worldwide, was looking for a network solution that would deliver a reliable IT infrastructure to optimally support its growing number of Hosted Consumer VoIP Solution and Reseller customers. The company’s main technical issue was to find a load balancer for both SIP and HTML traffic that would support high load traffic and provide seamless redundancy. Their focus was on sustaining 100% uptime for customers and continuing to build its business through this maintained reliability. In addition, deltathree required that any solution chosen would also provide help with IT infrastructure maintenance and upgrade procedures as well as reduce the need for manual configuration.
The Solution
deltathree’s aims to expand its Hosted Consumer VoIP Solution and Reseller customer base, and maintain undisruptive user experiences were addressed with Radware’s AFE Solution, which guarantees transaction completion and performs intelligent real-time transaction identification all the while assuring business continuity and 100% network uptime to maximize revenue generation. Radware’s solution was tested for load capacity, redundancy and load balancing capabilities for a wide range of enterprise critical applications including web service, TFTP, DNS, SIP and STUNS capabilities. Radware’s solution successfully passed all these tests, proving Radware’s stability and efficiency to deltathree. By deploying Radware’s enhanced AFE Solution, using advanced layer 4-7 switching policies, deltathree was able to uphold its server infrastructure without traffic surges, server bottlenecks, connectivity disconnects and downtime, perpetuating high network performance and application access while eliminating user experience interference. As a result, Radware’s solution allowed deltathree’s Hosted Consumer VoIP Solution and Reseller customers to continue experiencing the benefits of high load capacity, seamless redundancy, load balancing, and thorough server maintenance used for web services, DNS queries, TFTP services, SIP and more.
