About The Customer
Nutriso is designed for anyone looking to optimize their performance, reduce their carbon footprint, and minimize animal suffering by finding and consuming the most nutritious plant-based foods. This includes former collegiate athletes, Brazilian jiu-jitsu practitioners, obstacle course racers, and anyone else who is 'plant curious'. The app is also a valuable resource for those interested in the 'future of food', such as alternative proteins. Since its launch, Nutriso has grown to reach more than 4,100 people in over 90 countries, and has gone viral within the r/veganfitness and r/vegan communities on Reddit.
The Challenge
Nutriso was conceived with the aim of helping individuals optimize their performance, reduce their carbon footprint, and minimize animal suffering by finding and consuming the most nutritious plant-based foods. The challenge was to create a platform that could rank over 2,300 vegan and vegetarian-friendly foods based on their protein, iron, calcium, vitamins, and other nutrients. The founder, Alex Pethick, had a background in marketing and a basic understanding of CSS and HTML, but lacked the coding skills necessary to bring his idea to life. He needed a solution that would allow him to create a fully-functional web app without having to write a single line of code. Furthermore, he wanted a tool that could handle databases, workflows, and design elements, and produce an app that was indistinguishable from those written in traditional programming languages.
The Solution
Alex discovered Bubble, a no-code platform that offered all the features and tools necessary to build a fully-functional web app. Bubble's drag-and-drop canvas suited Alex's creative process better than the rigid, structured, column-based builders offered by most other no-code platforms. With Bubble, Alex was able to create Nutriso, an app that allows users to select a nutrient (e.g., protein) and find plant-based foods high or low in that nutrient. The app searches through thousands of foods and data points to generate a list of all foods that match the selected criteria. Despite facing challenges and taking a few months to build Nutriso, Alex found Bubble's 'learn on the job' approach an excellent way to learn what he needed to apply.

Predictive Maintenance for Industrial Chillers
For global leaders in the industrial chiller manufacturing, reliability of the entire production process is of the utmost importance. Chillers are refrigeration systems that produce ice water to provide cooling for a process or industrial application. One of those leaders sought a way to respond to asset performance issues, even before they occur. The intelligence to guarantee maximum reliability of cooling devices is embedded (pre-alarming). A pre-alarming phase means that the cooling device still works, but symptoms may appear, telling manufacturers that a failure is likely to occur in the near future. Chillers who are not internet connected at that moment, provide little insight in this pre-alarming phase.

Integration of PLC with IoT for Bosch Rexroth
The application arises from the need to monitor and anticipate the problems of one or more machines managed by a PLC. These problems, often resulting from the accumulation over time of small discrepancies, require, when they occur, ex post technical operations maintenance.
