About The Customer
Northern Raised's customers are individuals who value high-quality, naturally-raised meats and fish and prefer the convenience of home delivery. They are likely health-conscious and environmentally aware, preferring grass-fed products for their superior nutritional profile and lower environmental impact. These customers appreciate the ability to customize their monthly box selections and manage their subscriptions through a user-friendly platform. They value transparency and convenience, appreciating features like the delivery zone checker and the minimum order requirement that ensures they receive a substantial quantity of products with each delivery. The integration of Stripe for payment processing also provides them with a secure and reliable method for online transactions.
The Challenge
Northern Raised, a company specializing in the delivery of grass-fed, naturally-raised meats and fish, faced the challenge of creating a user-friendly platform for their customers. They needed a system that would allow users to browse their products, check delivery zones, create an account, and manage a shopping cart. The platform also needed to integrate with Stripe for payment processing and provide a user account dashboard for managing subscriptions and monthly box selections. On the administrative side, the platform needed to facilitate order and customer management, analyze Lifetime Value (LTV), and track product counts. The challenge was to find a solution that was flexible and customizable to meet these unique needs.
The Solution
The co-founders of Northern Raised, Andrew Pottruff and Zack Langlois, chose Bubble, a no-code platform, to build their application. Bubble's flexibility and customizability made it the ideal solution for their unique needs. The app they built is a customizable monthly subscription solution for their business. It includes a front-end ordering system, Stripe payment integration, and a user account dashboard. Users can manage their subscription status and monthly box selections, while the admin dashboard allows the management of orders, customers, LTV analysis, product counts, and more. The app also includes a 'delivery zone checker' and a shopping cart that requires a minimum $150 order to checkout. Once the checkout is successful, a new order is created in the database and the user is redirected to their account dashboard. The app also schedules a backend workflow to run on the user's next monthly processing date, allowing offline charging via the user's Stripe payment method and creating a new order based on the existing selections in their cart.
