About The Customer
MN Vermogensbeheer is a financial service provider based in the Netherlands. The company manages pension assets worth €175 billion and provides services such as management advice, asset management, pension administration, pension communication, and insurance administration. MN supports large Dutch pension funds and was using an on-site archive to store policy documents for these funds. The maintenance of this platform was time-consuming and required the involvement of a team of internal employees.
The Challenge

This system required maintenance by a team of internal employees, which was time-consuming and took away from their ability to focus on core processes. Updates to the platform required the involvement of team members from different departments, further reducing their available bandwidth. The need for a more efficient and less labor-intensive solution led MN to consider moving to a cloud-based platform.
The Solution
ProcessMaker developed a new, cloud-based MN Fund Platform for MN Vermogensbeheer. This platform serves as a central digital archive for policy documents, reports, and digital contracts. The platform is accessible from anywhere in the world and can handle multiple users simultaneously without compromising on speed or efficiency. The platform's interface is simple and intuitive, making it easy for all team members to use, regardless of their technical expertise. With this solution, MN no longer needs to pull employees away from their core work to facilitate updates to the platform. The company's on-site IT department can now focus on projects that grow the business instead of daily database updates.

Smooth Transition to Energy Savings
The building was equipped with four end-of-life Trane water cooled chillers, located in the basement. Johnson Controls installed four York water cooled centrifugal chillers with unit mounted variable speed drives and a total installed cooling capacity of 6,8 MW. Each chiller has a capacity of 1,6 MW (variable to 1.9MW depending upon condenser water temperatures). Johnson Controls needed to design the equipment in such way that it would fit the dimensional constraints of the existing plant area and plant access route but also the specific performance requirements of the client. Morgan Stanley required the chiller plant to match the building load profile, turn down to match the low load requirement when needed and provide an improvement in the Energy Efficiency Ratio across the entire operating range. Other requirements were a reduction in the chiller noise level to improve the working environment in the plant room and a wide operating envelope coupled with intelligent controls to allow possible variation in both flow rate and temperature. The latter was needed to leverage increased capacity from a reduced number of machines during the different installation phases and allow future enhancement to a variable primary flow system.

MasterCard Improves Customer Experience Through Self-Service Data Prep
Derek Madison, Leader of Business Financial Support at MasterCard, oversees the validation of transactions and cash between two systems, whether they’re MasterCard owned or not. He was charged with identifying new ways to increase efficiency and improve MasterCard processes. At the outset, the 13-person team had to manually reconcile system interfaces using reports that resided on the company’s mainframe.
