Mercado de Valores de Costa Rica is a private financial group that has been offering financial advisory and intermediation services since 1976. The organization is committed to high standards and ethical values, and it is certified in ISO 9001 based on the INTE ISO 9001:2008 standard. Mercado de Valores also holds the property right of the certifying agency, Costa Rica Institute of Technical Standards (INTECO). The mission of Mercado de Valores is to demonstrate its capacity to offer services that boost customer satisfaction through the effective application of the system, including processes designed to promote continuous improvements and guarantee compliance with customer requirements, applicable norms, and those applying to the organization.
The Challenge
In addition to controlling documents and managing corrective and/or preventive actions, Mercado de Valores de Costa Rica needed to manage quality audits and indicators. For this reason and due to the constant concern with maintaining the standards demanded by the ISO 9001:2008, the organization went in search of an integrated solution that could fulfill all the requirements associated with its quality processes.
The Solution
Mercado de Valores established a partnership with SoftExpert in 2007, acquiring the SoftExpert EQM Suite solution (Enterprise Quality Management). This solution supports all phases of the PDCA (Plan, Do, Check, Act) continuous improvement cycle, from planning to critical analysis.
