About The Customer
Møller was founded by Harald Aars Møller in 1936. The core business of MøllerGruppen is the import, sale, and service of three strong brands: Volkswagen, Audi, and Skoda. The Group also has a substantial real estate portfolio of 325,000 sqm, with large parts related to car imports and dealership activities in Norway, Sweden, Estonia, Lithuania, and Latvia. With over 4,400 employees, Møller is a leading car retailer in these regions. Their commitment to environmental responsibility is evident in their focus on using the best and least environmentally harmful products in their operations.
The Challenge
Møller, a leading car retailer for Volkswagen, Audi, and Skoda in Norway, Sweden, and the Balkans, faced a significant challenge in managing the use of chemicals and other hazardous products in their operations. As one of Norway's largest car importers, Møller was committed to adhering to Norwegian law and focusing on the use of environmentally friendly products. However, the automotive industry is known for its extensive use of chemicals in various processes, making it difficult for Møller to maintain an accurate overview of the products in their range. Furthermore, Møller's large dealer network, which makes purchases with them, required access to safety data sheets for all chemicals used. Without a proper system in place, achieving these objectives would have been a daunting task.
The Solution
Møller partnered with BIS Production Partner and EcoOnline to address their challenge. BIS Production Partner assisted Møller in creating safety data sheets for all the chemicals used in their operations. These sheets were then posted online, providing Møller's dealer network with easy access to crucial safety information. On the other hand, EcoOnline provided Møller with their Eco Archive software. This software allowed Møller to maintain a comprehensive and up-to-date overview of the products in their range. The system is under constant improvement, demonstrating EcoOnline's commitment to being a serious player in the market. With the help of BIS Production Partner and EcoOnline, Møller was able to achieve their goal of using the best and least environmentally harmful products in their operations.

Integral Plant Maintenance
Mercedes-Benz and his partner GAZ chose Siemens to be its maintenance partner at a new engine plant in Yaroslavl, Russia. The new plant offers a capacity to manufacture diesel engines for the Russian market, for locally produced Sprinter Classic. In addition to engines for the local market, the Yaroslavl plant will also produce spare parts. Mercedes-Benz Russia and his partner needed a service partner in order to ensure the operation of these lines in a maintenance partnership arrangement. The challenges included coordinating the entire maintenance management operation, in particular inspections, corrective and predictive maintenance activities, and the optimizing spare parts management. Siemens developed a customized maintenance solution that includes all electronic and mechanical maintenance activities (Integral Plant Maintenance).

Advanced Elastomer Systems Upgrades Production
In order to maintain its share of the international market for thermoplastic elastomers AES recently expanded its Florida plant by adding a new production line. While the existing lines were operating satisfactorily using a PROVOX distributed control system with traditional analog I/O, AES wanted advanced technology on the new line for greater economy, efficiency, and reliability. AES officials were anxious to get this line into production to meet incoming orders, but two hurricanes slowed construction.
