About The Customer
LTR Now is primarily targeted at property managers and renters. Property managers can use the platform to automate the sharing of rental history verification, request references from current and previous tenants, and manage and store rental history with previous/prospective tenants and previous landlords. Renters, on the other hand, can use LTR Now to access their rental history data, confirm or deny its accuracy, and share their experiences with previous landlords. The platform also allows renters to request and share this data for roommates with their consent. By creating transparency, inclusivity, and accountability in the residential rental housing community, LTR Now aims to improve the quality of life for renters and contribute to a healthy rental housing ecosystem.
The Challenge
The residential rental housing community has long been plagued by a lack of transparency, inclusivity, and accountability. Property managers often struggle with the process of sharing rental history verification, which is a crucial factor in securing housing for renters. On the other hand, renters often find it difficult to access their rental history data and confirm its accuracy. Furthermore, there was no efficient platform for renters to share their experiences with previous landlords, which could help other renters make informed decisions. Khanesia Hill Washington, an active licensed real estate agent and landlord, identified these challenges and saw a need to improve this process that significantly impacts a renter's quality of life and ability to secure housing.
The Solution
Khanesia developed LTR Now, an app that helps property managers and renters share their rental experiences. The platform was built using Bubble, a no-code platform that offers learning tutorials, a simple user interface, and full customizability. LTR Now allows property managers to automate the sharing of rental history verification by submitting and completing a digitized form with consent from their prospective tenant. They can also request references from current and previous tenants. On the other hand, renters can access their rental history data and confirm or deny its accuracy. They also have the opportunity to share their experience of their previous landlord to help other renters make informed decisions. The platform digitizes and automates rental history, making it easier for both property managers and renters to manage and share rental experiences.
