With her extensive experience in tech as a web developer and software engineer, and as the founder of Onyx Ocean Technologies, she was well-positioned to address this issue. However, the urgency of the situation required a solution that could be quickly implemented and easily accessible to businesses in need.
The Solution
FaLon Thomas chose to use Bubble, a no-code platform, to create the COVID Business Resources app. This platform allowed her to quickly provide access to resources when businesses needed them the most. The app helps businesses find COVID-19 relief programs based on their location and offers a database of tools to support business growth during uncertain times. Users can search for relief programs, like grants and loans, and can also save their resources and tools on the platform. The app also features a 'tools' section where users can find a list of tools categorized by analytics, customer support, marketing, design, and more. Users can even add tools directly to the app through their account.
