Environmental Pest Control is a small to medium-sized business that was founded in 2006. The company provides pest control services with organic options for mosquito, general pest, termite, exclusion, and attic work. They have been an Azuga customer since June 2017. The company has seen significant growth since merging with two other companies in 2016, expanding its services to the greater Northern Virginia community and recently into Maryland and Eastern West Virginia. They operate a fleet of 22 vehicles and their biggest challenge has been finding and retaining good technicians to service their customers.

The company, which had seen a 3x growth since the merger, struggled with finding and retaining good technicians to service their customers. Another major challenge was the need for real-time tracking of their team to ensure they were at the right place at the right time, doing what was expected of them. The company was previously using a solution that integrated with their PestPac routing software, but the cost was high and the quality mediocre. Therefore, they needed a cost-effective, high-quality solution that could provide real-time tracking of their fleet and ensure timely completion of work.

To control the temperature, farmers use a two-sided sheet of foil: the black side draws in sunlight to increase the heat of the asparagus bed, and the white side reflects light to cool the bed down.
