About The Customer
Kiwibot is a company that offers a unique delivery service through a mobile app. Customers can order food, packages, groceries, and more from their phone. Once an order is placed, a small, 4-wheeled robot is dispatched to the restaurant or store to pick up the purchases. The robot then navigates local streets to deliver the order to the customer's door. The customer can then open the hatch of the robot's receptacle via their mobile phone and retrieve their goods. Kiwibot's innovative delivery method offers a unique and convenient service for customers.
The Challenge
Kiwibot, a company that offers a mobile app for ordering food, packages, groceries, and more, faced a significant challenge in their delivery process. Their unique delivery method involves a small, 4-wheeled robot that is dispatched to the restaurant or store to pick up the customer's purchases. The robot then navigates local streets to deliver the order to the customer's door. However, Kiwibot needed a video solution to serve as the 'eyes' of the delivery robot. This solution needed to be easy to use and integrate seamlessly into their existing platform. They required a solution that wouldn't necessitate writing any complicated code to get it to work.
The Solution
Kiwibot found their solution in the Vonage Video API. This API provided the necessary video capabilities to enable the robot to navigate the streets and deliver orders effectively. The Vonage Video API was not only easy to use but also integrated directly into Kiwibot's existing platform. This meant that Kiwibot didn't have to write any complicated code to get the API to work with their system. With the help of the Vonage support team, Kiwibot was able to quickly build a product within one week and prototype it within days. This rapid development and implementation process allowed Kiwibot to quickly overcome their challenge and improve their delivery process.

Vodafone Hosted On AWS
Vodafone found that traffic for the applications peak during the four-month period when the international cricket season is at its height in Australia. During the 2011/2012 cricket season, 700,000 consumers downloaded the Cricket Live Australia application. Vodafone needed to be able to meet customer demand, but didn’t want to invest in additional resources that would be underutilized during cricket’s off-season.
