BNOTIONS, a multi-award winning innovation agency, was facing challenges in providing real-time reporting to its clients and building a data-driven culture within the agency. The agency was spending a significant amount of time on reporting tasks, which was not only time-consuming but also inefficient. The agency was also struggling with transparency and knowledge sharing across different teams and accounts. The traditional method of gathering data and presenting it in PowerPoint presentations was proving to be inefficient and time-consuming. The first five to ten slides of each presentation were dedicated to explaining how the project was performing before getting into recommendations.
The Solution
BNOTIONS adopted Geckoboard, a real-time data communication tool, to provide real-time reporting to its clients and build a data-driven culture within the agency. The agency uses Geckoboard to track analytics during each phase of a project and identify any issues that may arise. The tool allows BNOTIONS to quickly identify and focus on areas that are presenting problems. The agency shares Geckoboard with its clients, who can monitor the metrics and participate in the agency's morning development stand-ups. The tool has also helped the agency save time during catch-up meetings with clients as they already know how the product is performing. Geckoboard is displayed on a 42-inch TV outside the product team's pod and rotates through all the projects that the agency is working on.
