About The Customer
Colorado Internet Solutions is a small web design and SEO agency that focuses on creating marketing programs with budgetary options for their small business clientele. They aim to keep their services affordable without sacrificing quality. Their goal is to keep their clients ahead of the game, while taking into serious consideration the elements that are relevant to site ranking and optimization in their market. Despite being more affordable than their competitors, they offer a results-driven approach and strive to always deliver a return on investment for each client.
The Challenge
Colorado Internet Solutions (CIS), a small web design and SEO agency, was facing a challenge with their existing SEO platform. The platform was not only expensive, costing them nearly $10,000 per year, but it also delivered too much unnecessary information that their clients couldn’t understand. The platform didn’t focus on the niche requirements of local businesses enough and this price was proving hard to justify. CIS also used a separate tool for citation building, and it soon became cumbersome having to deal with multiple platforms for SEO management.
The Solution
CIS found a solution in BrightLocal’s suite of tools. BrightLocal’s less expensive, more friendly, and more locally focused Local Search Rank Checker is a much better fit for CIS and their clients’ needs. The ability to white-label reports means that they can start owning the results they deliver to clients. CIS also use the ranking reports and Citation Tracker to prospect and win new customers. They now make extensive use of Citation Builder to manage local SEO reporting and citations in one place. This all-in-one system makes SEO reporting and citation building easier and more efficient.

Flex Contact Center: Supporting rapid business growth with IBM Connections Cloud and IBM Verse
Flex Contact Center, a professional services company offering telesales, call-center, anti-attrition, back-office, helpdesk and collection services, has grown rapidly since its establishment in 2009. With operations in 12 sites across two states and four cities in Brazil, the company employs more than 11,000 people. However, the company realized that to prevent barriers to future expansion, it was essential to make it as easy as possible for its people to work together effectively—even if they were based in separate geographical locations. Traditional approaches to collaboration—based on email and phone calls—threatened to reduce productivity. Flex Contact Center wanted to enable better collaboration and communication across its workforce, but did not want to make large investments in infrastructure.

PureFluent: Connecting to partners and customers through the cloud for enhanced productivity
PureFluent, a translation services company, was facing challenges in managing its translation and document review processes. The company often received files in uneditable formats from customers, which required staff members to transfer text to word processing or spreadsheet documents. During the translation process, maintaining version control was a challenge because PureFluent sent work to hundreds of translators in multiple geographic locations. It was also time-consuming for staff to manage the large volume of emails and FTP transactions required to submit translations for customer review and ensure the integration of requested changes. Furthermore, staff were spending significant time hunting through their emails for specific attachments.
