About The Customer
HelloGuru targets non-technical individuals interested in building software but lack traditional coding skills. These individuals could be anyone from business professionals, like Felipe himself, to entrepreneurs, and people looking to transition into the tech industry. The platform is also beneficial for companies and startups seeking to hire individuals with no-code skills. Although HelloGuru primarily focuses on Spanish-speaking countries, all content is provided in English, making it accessible to a global audience. The platform currently boasts nearly 4000 students, indicating a diverse and growing user base.
The Challenge
Felipe Abello, the founder of HelloGuru, was a non-technical individual with a deep fascination for technology and computer science. Despite his business background and experience working at a startup, he felt frustrated by his inability to code and the significant time investment required to become a proficient developer. He was also aware of the growing demand for no-code skills in companies and startups. Recognizing the gap between non-technical individuals and the need for software development skills, Felipe sought an alternative solution that would empower non-technical individuals to build software without traditional coding.
The Solution
Felipe discovered Bubble, a no-code platform that allowed him to utilize the tools and knowledge that developers have, without needing a technical background. Inspired by his experience, he founded HelloGuru, an educational app that teaches people how to build software using no-code tools like Bubble. HelloGuru offers step-by-step courses on different no-code platforms, providing mentorship and 1-on-1 support for users. The app's teaching method is recipe-based, involving written instructions aided by images, gifs, and short videos to create interaction through guided steps. Upon course completion, users receive a certificate and a profile page showcasing their achievements. The ultimate goal of HelloGuru is to become a 'factory of no-coders', connecting trained individuals with companies and entrepreneurs seeking no-code skills.

Predictive Maintenance for Industrial Chillers
For global leaders in the industrial chiller manufacturing, reliability of the entire production process is of the utmost importance. Chillers are refrigeration systems that produce ice water to provide cooling for a process or industrial application. One of those leaders sought a way to respond to asset performance issues, even before they occur. The intelligence to guarantee maximum reliability of cooling devices is embedded (pre-alarming). A pre-alarming phase means that the cooling device still works, but symptoms may appear, telling manufacturers that a failure is likely to occur in the near future. Chillers who are not internet connected at that moment, provide little insight in this pre-alarming phase.
