The Challenge
Avanade, a global professional services firm, faced the challenge of supporting a highly mobile and dispersed workforce. The company needed to simplify business processes and improve productivity for its employees, particularly its sellers, who required easy access to corporate data and resources while on the go. The goal was to create a digital workplace that allowed employees to collaborate effectively, regardless of their location, and to streamline internal operations to better serve and attract clients.
The Solution
Avanade adopted Microsoft cloud technologies, including the full range of Microsoft Office 365 components, to empower its digital workplace. This included the use of Microsoft PowerApps to develop and publish curated content, and Office 365 to provide employees with access to all necessary information on their mobile devices. The company also utilized Microsoft OneDrive for Business and SharePoint Online to facilitate collaboration and secure document storage. The Digital @ Your Fingertips mobile app was created using PowerApps, allowing employees to easily find and access content on their smartphones.
