The Challenge

The Solution
Franklin Synergy Bank implemented several Barracuda solutions to address its security needs. The Barracuda Firewall provided granular control over web applications and network bandwidth, allowing the bank to manage VLANs, DMZs, and NATs effectively. The firewall also included VPN functionality, enabling SSL VPN and IPsec connectivity for remote users and connecting various locations with IPsec tunnels. The bank integrated the Barracuda Web Filter to enforce granular Internet policies, manage bandwidth for web applications, and monitor employee Internet usage. The Web Filter helped limit liabilities and risks from inappropriate content and blocked access to potentially dangerous websites. The Barracuda Spam Firewall was added to provide comprehensive email security, reducing spam and protecting against data loss, viruses, and DDoS attacks. The Barracuda Link Balancer and Barracuda Message Archiver were also part of the solution, ensuring reliable and secure network and email operations. The unified Barracuda solutions offered similar user interfaces, reducing the technology learning curve and easing day-to-day management.
