The Challenge
Validium, an employee assistance and wellbeing consultancy, was facing a significant challenge with its on-premises web and email security solution. The system was ineffective, allowing sophisticated attacks to slip through. Malicious code embedded in attachments or URLs led to the organization falling victim to two crypto-ransomware attacks within a few weeks. The system also required frequent manual updates, which were time-consuming and did not necessarily improve functionality.
The Solution
Validium decided to implement Forcepoint's Email Security Cloud and Web Security Cloud with Advanced Malware Detection. This solution offered more effective, efficient, and scalable network protection. The cloud-based system provided advanced protection against sophisticated attacks, including those with malicious code embedded in attachments or URLs. The solution also reduced the need for manual updates, freeing up the Business Projects Department to focus on other tasks. The implementation process was smooth, with immediate results seen.

Hospital Inventory Management
The hospital supply chain team is responsible for ensuring that the right medical supplies are readily available to clinicians when and where needed, and to do so in the most efficient manner possible. However, many of the systems and processes in use at the cancer center for supply chain management were not best suited to support these goals. In order to address the challenges outlined above, the hospital sought a solution that would provide real-time inventory information with high levels of accuracy, reduce the level of manual effort required and enable data driven decision making to ensure that the right supplies were readily available to clinicians in the right location at the right time.
