The Challenge
A robust cybersecurity strategy requires comprehensive protection from endpoints to cloud to networks. Evolumia, a value-added reseller and managed services provider, struggled to gain a centralized security view of customers’ IT environments with its prior Panda Security solution. In addition, the solution generated frequent false positives and negatives, creating vulnerabilities and extra work for the security team. In response, Evolumia evaluated and tested Trend Micro, Kaspersky, and Bitdefender security solutions. Bitdefender Ultra was the clear choice.
The Solution
Evolumia chose Bitdefender Ultra for its excellent integration between endpoint and network security. Bitdefender provided the highest detection rate and nearly zero false positives during testing. This allowed Evolumia to offer an ecosystem of cybersecurity protection across customers’ networks and endpoints. Evolumia collaborated with Bitdefender to resell Bitdefender Ultra and provide installation, advisory, and managed services. They have sold and installed Bitdefender at customer sites spanning several thousand endpoints. Bitdefender GravityZone Ultra provides integrated threat prevention, detection, response, and risk analytics across physical and virtual endpoints and cloud environments. The solution incorporates threat intelligence, machine learning, and behavior analytics applied to network traffic to detect advanced attacks early and enable effective threat response. Evolumia also uses Bitdefender to protect its internal infrastructure.

The hospital supply chain team is responsible for ensuring that the right medical supplies are readily available to clinicians when and where needed, and to do so in the most efficient manner possible. However, many of the systems and processes in use at the cancer center for supply chain management were not best suited to support these goals. In order to address the challenges outlined above, the hospital sought a solution that would provide real-time inventory information with high levels of accuracy, reduce the level of manual effort required and enable data driven decision making to ensure that the right supplies were readily available to clinicians in the right location at the right time.
