About The Customer
Empresa Municipal de Aguas de Gijón (EMA) is a corporation owned by the municipality of Gijón (a municipality in the province and principality of Asturias, in Spain). The company is responsible for direct management of services related to management of the integrated water cycle, both in the municipality and in the rural parishes (collection, treatment and supply of drinking water, as well as maintenance, cleaning and repair of wastewater, sanitation and water purification facilities).
The Challenge
The company needed software so as to lower the costs of implementing the ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and Accreditation 17025 quality certificates. Moreover, Empresa Municipal de Aguas de Gijón lacked a tool to control management of documents related to quality certificates.
