The messages contained a link to a scheduling app on the company's website, where candidates could schedule a call with a recruiter. The system also sent appointment reminders to ensure candidates would answer the phone or cancel in advance if the agreed-upon time no longer worked for them. The switch to RingCentral’s SMS API also brought about cost savings for Craftlogic. The SMS service was included in their RingCentral subscription, whereas the previous SMS gateway charged based on the number of messages sent.
