The Challenge
Chubbies, a rapidly growing clothing brand, faced significant challenges with their legacy systems, which included QuickBooks, Excel, and an order management system. These systems required extensive manual data entry and were not scalable to accommodate their expanding business. The lack of an integrated warehouse management solution led to issues such as improper receiving against transfer orders, inaccurate inventory counts, and a lack of visibility into inventory discrepancies. Chubbies' leadership recognized the need for a more robust and integrated solution to manage their inventory and streamline their operations.
The Solution
To address their challenges, Chubbies implemented NetSuite to achieve an integrated purchasing strategy and provide transaction-level detail. However, they also needed a solution to manage their inventory effectively. Based on recommendations from NetSuite and other customers, Chubbies chose RF-SMART for inventory management. RF-SMART provided Chubbies with true insight and control over their inventory, which was crucial for their continued growth. The implementation of RF-SMART was straightforward, with a basic bundle installation and comprehensive training for employees. RF-SMART is now used across Chubbies' retail stores for inventory management, including receiving and stock counts. The solution has enabled employees to receive replenishment orders while the store is open and make necessary inventory adjustments in NetSuite. This integration has significantly improved inventory accuracy and visibility, allowing Chubbies to save time and labor previously spent on manual data compilation.

Moxa was asked to provide a connectivity solution for one of the world's leading cosmetics companies.
