Badger Fulfillment Group is a company established in 2018 with a focus on logistics and order fulfillment. They initially operated on a business-to-business (B2B) model but decided to transform their operations into a hybrid model that includes direct-to-consumer (DTC) order fulfillment. To facilitate this transformation, they built a new 120,000 sq. ft. warehouse in Harvard, IL, designed specifically for third-party logistics (3PL) operations. The company aimed to serve different types of customers, eliminate order and shipment inaccuracies, and maintain visibility for each of their clients.
Badger Fulfillment Group, established in 2018, embarked on a mission to transform their business model from a traditional business-to-business (B2B) model to a hybrid operation that includes direct-to-consumer (DTC) order fulfillment. To achieve this, they built a new 120,000 sq. ft. warehouse in Harvard, IL, specifically designed for third-party logistics (3PL) operations. However, for their state-of-the-art facility to succeed, they recognized the need for a flexible and scalable Warehouse Management System (WMS). The challenge was to find a solution that could streamline their processes for end-to-end management of B2B, B2C, and location-to-location (LTL) order fulfillment. They needed a system that could handle the different types of customers they wanted to take on, eliminate order and shipment inaccuracies, and maintain visibility for each of their clients.
Badger Fulfillment Group turned to Logiwa's robust Cloud fulfillment platform to meet their needs. Logiwa’s WMS offered a solution that could help Badger streamline their processes for end-to-end management of B2B, B2C, and location-to-location (LTL) order fulfillment. The system's direct putaway algorithms and AI-powered picking and packing capabilities allowed Badger to easily manage the different types of customers they wanted to serve. With Logiwa’s WMS, they were able to eliminate order and shipment inaccuracies, and maintain visibility for each of their clients. The transformation into an AI-powered warehouse with Logiwa WMS enabled Badger Logistics to grow their hybrid business and manage complex operations with ease.
