Incentiv's customers value the simplicity of the app's setup process, which involves uploading just two files, and the speed with which they can process commissions.
The Challenge
Incentiv was founded by Matthew Haller, a former management consultant for Deloitte, who identified a significant problem in the business management application sector. He noticed that many companies were spending millions of dollars on custom solutions to support their sales teams, only to discard these solutions before they went live due to changes in business strategy. This wasteful and inefficient process was particularly prevalent in the area of commission calculation for small and medium-sized businesses. These companies needed a way to automate the commission calculation process, provide real-time insights into rep earnings, organize all sales contracts, and automatically provide insights and analytics on commission budget expenditure.
The Solution
In response to this challenge, Haller created Incentiv, an app that automates the entire commissions calculation process for small and mid-sized companies. The app is designed to be user-friendly and efficient. New customers simply upload two files - one for user access/permissions and another with pay/quota information for each of their users. The Incentiv customer success team then configures the backend of the system for the company's specific plans. From there, processing commissions is as simple as uploading a transaction report, a process that can be completed in under 30 minutes. The app was built on Bubble, a platform that allowed Haller to rapidly build a complex application, test the UI, play with different data models, and connect to existing infrastructure.
