The company was facing a challenge in staffing their warehouses and needed an efficient solution to hire a large number of employees in a short span of time.
The Challenge
Anixter International, a leading global distributor of Network & Security Solutions, Electrical & Electronic Solutions and Utility Power Solutions, faced a significant challenge in staffing their warehouses. The company needed to hire 50 people for one warehouse and 20 for another in a short span of time. The process of staffing a warehouse requires extensive planning, marketing, and time. The traditional hiring process was not efficient enough to meet their immediate staffing needs. The challenge was to find a solution that could streamline the hiring process, prequalify candidates, and schedule interviews efficiently and effectively.
The Solution
To address their staffing challenge, Anixter International turned to AllyO, an end-to-end recruitment solution. AllyO was tasked with the goal of hiring 50 people at one hiring event for one of their warehouses and 20 people at another event for a different warehouse location. AllyO's solution was to prequalify and schedule candidates for the two events. The solution was highly effective, with AllyO scheduling 600 interviews in a span of two weeks for the first hiring event, resulting in 56 outstanding offers and an additional 40 qualified potential hires. For the second hiring event, AllyO scheduled 114 people for interviews onsite, with 14 of them hired and another 8 through walk-ins.
